Kaia Gerber is owning NYFW with her beauty look

The name Kaia Gerber may not have rung a bell a few months ago, but it is definitely one you need to know now. The 15-year-old daughter of Cindy Crawford has not only released her first campaign as the face of Marc Beauty, but has also absolutely killed it with her beauty looks of late. The model’s hair and makeup look for the launch of her Marc Beauty campaign at New York Fashion Week is the most recent one we’re loving.

Luckily for us, her makeup artist Hung Vanngo (who is also responsible for the iconic Victoria’s Secret smoky eye) and hairstylist Jen Atkin (responsible for the locks of Chrissy Teigen and Khloe Kardashian), have revealed the products they used to create her beauty look.

The Marc Jacobs Beauty makeup products that Vanngo credits in order to recreate the look include: Genius Gel Foundation in Beige Medium, Glow Stick in Spotlight and O! Mega Bronzer for her bronzed glow. For a more budget-friendly alternative for that glow, try Australis Mineral Face Highlighter in Pearl for the same sheer effect, which will work for any skin tone.

For her brows, he used Brow Wow Pencil and Tamer Gel. And for her eyes, the Highliner Gel Eyeliners in Brownie and Sunset, combined with the Twinkle Pop Eyeshadow Stick. You can also try Maybelline Brow Precise and Ardell Brow Sculpting Gel in clear. 

To recreate Kaia’s disco waves, Jen Atkin used R Session Pro Nalu waver (which unfortunately isn't available in Australia) to get the retro effect for her curls, and a Dyson Supersonic hairdryer with a diffuser in order to blow them out into waves and give them volume.

Alternatively, to create big voluminous curls, we suggest starting with a texturising mousse such as TreSEMME Perfectly (Un)done Sea Foam to give your hair texture before you start. Then, using a curling tong, wind your hair section by section. For the blowing out step, try a Models Prefer Professional Hair Dryer.
