Dyson is finally launching haircare products
To help maximise the results of the brand's hair tools
Dyson has earned a solid reputation as the most innovative home and lifestyle solutions technology brand of the modern day.
After reinventing the proverbial wheel with the creation of the Dyson Supersonic ($649 from Dyson), the brand gave loyal customers advancements in the styling department with the Dyson Corrale ($749 from Dyson) and Dyson Airwrap ($599 from Dyson), respectively.
Earlier this year Dyson blessed us with the new and improved Dyson Supersonic Nural ($749 from Dyson), as well as the wet to dry Dyson Airstrait hair straightener, but the innovators in hair technology aren't stopping there.
Today, Dyson announced it's entering into the world of formulations with the hair care-meets-styling range, Dyson Chitosan™.
What is Dyson Chitosan™?
Formulated to solve the perennial problem of crunchy hair caused by traditional styling hair products, the Dyson Chitosan™ range includes a range of pre-styling priming creams and post-styling hair serums that cater to different hair types and condition preferences.
There are light and rich conditioning formulas for straight and wavy hair, and the same goes for curly and coily hair types too. Each of the personalised styling products help to create long-lasting and flexible all-day hold without compromising on movement and shine. Plus, the products also help to minimise frizz up to fifty per cent, enhance shine, soften and smooth, and protect the hair from humidity.
What is Chitosan?
Chitosan is a molecule traditionally derived from shellfish, but Dyson has formulated its products with a completely vegan version of the ingredient extracted from oyster mushrooms. The lightweight ingredient works to reinforce the structure of the hair without affecting it's movement and flexibility.
When and where is Dyson Chitosan™ available to shop?
The Dyson Chitosan™ range of pre-styling creams and post-styling serums will be available to shop online at the Dyson website from August 23rd. You can register for updates on the launch here.

The Dyson Chitosan™ range will retail for $89 for a 100ml bottle, and the sustainable packaging can be refilled for just $79.
