Hailey Bieber just launched a Krispy Kreme-inspired lip gloss
The TikTok sleuths were right. Hailey Bieber’s strawberry makeup hype all boiled down to one thing: a new launch from her skin care brand, Rhode.
Don’t get us wrong, we live for a food-inspired trend. From blueberry milk nails to latte makeup, these trends go viral for a reason – they’re easy yet stunning and essentially just putting a Gen Z spin on tried and tested trends we all love.
Bieber had us convinced her next launch would be cream blush (and we’re still holding out hope tbh). But the multi-hyphenate has dropped an even tastier treat inspired by none other than Krispy Kreme: the new Rhode Peptide Lip Treatment in ‘Strawberry Glazed Doughnut’.
If you’ve opened TikTok at any point since the brand launched in mid-2022, you’ll no doubt have heard the hype around the Peptide Lip Treatment. The vegan lip gloss-balm hybrid features nourishing ingredients like shea butter, cupuaçu and peptides to hydrate and plump your pout. And if you’ve been lucky enough to try it for yourself, you’ll understand why everyone is so obsessed.
The new glossy pink iteration of the Peptide Lip Treatment launches on August 28, exclusively at Rhode for $16 USD. And, as the collaboration of our dreams, Krispy Kreme is bringing back its iconic Strawberry Glazed Doughnut across the US and Canada from September 1 through 4 to celebrate the launch.
Unfortunately for us Aussies, Rhode still isn’t shipping down under and the special edition Krispy Kremes likely won’t be hitting stores here (brb, moving to North America). But you can always snag yourself an A+ Rhode dupe or opt for a mail forwarding service like Shipito to get your goodies safely delivered to your doorstep.
