The best off-duty celeb hairstyles we’ve spotted

From the Oscars (and its fashion-crowd equivalent, the CFDA Awards) to Cannes Film Festival and, of course, our beloved Met Gala…there’s been an absolute smorgasbord of red carpet events lately that have provided endless amounts of fresh beauty inspo.

But the problem with getting all our hair inspo from red carpet events is that we’ve got great ideas for evening occasions and heading out on the weekend, but we’re still left wanting for day-to-day ideas that we can actually wear IRL.

But there’s good news pals, ‘cause celebs do all that normal stuff like walking their dogs and grabbing coffee on the weekend too, and we’ve been on high alert for their best downtime ‘dos.

Here are our favourite off-duty celeb hairstyles:

Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner was seen leaving a lunch spot in SoHo, New York City looking a tad windswept in her off-duty ‘do. In a style loved by models around the world, she’s gone for a simple centre-parting with straightened hair. Simple yet stunning.

Miley Cyrus

Miley was spotted leaving Gymkhana restaurant in London and we thought she looked SO cool in this messy bun look. We love the spiky pieces poppin’ out the top and award this style an 11/10 for everyday wearability.

Emily Ratajkowski

American model/actress Emily Ratajkowski looked absolutely gorgeous while out walking her new puppy Colombo. She’s left her long locks loose in effortless waves, which we like to think could be yesterday’s blow-dry - restored with some dry shampoo.

Bella Hadid

Bella Hadid was looking like the definition of cool-girl with this half-up/half-down hair look when spotted at the Formula 1 Grand Prix De Monaco in Monaco. In fact, we liked it so much, we wrote all about it here. It also looks like the perfect save for third-day hair when you still want to wear your hair out, but your roots are getting a little on the oily side.

Gigi Hadid

Gigi Hadid was spotted in Chelsea with this quirky topknot. She’s piled her hair high up on top of head before securing it all with a hairband. And in true off-duty style, she’s not worried about letting a few pieces escape.

Elsa Hosk

Elsa Hosk is another celeb that’s partial to the messy bun. The Swedish model and Victoria’s Secret Angel strutted through SoHo in New York in this laidback hairstyle. We love that she’s left her fly-aways loose to do their thing, adding some fun texture and volume to the look.

Lucy Hale

American actress/singer Lucy Hale grabbed her morning coffee in Los Angeles rocking this adorable short ponytail situation. She’s parted her hair in the centre and has then brushed her hair back into a low ponytail. Very chic!

Irina Shayk

Irina Shayk was sighted exiting a car during the Milan Men’s Fashion Week. She’s gone for a deep side-parting with a slicked-down low bun. With a few well-placed bobby pins keeping any fly-aways at bay, she’s good to go.

Mary-Kate Olsen

The Olsen twins are arguably the ultimate queens of undone waves. And here is Mary-Kate Olsen wearing their trademark hairstyle at the International Global Champions Tour at Club de Campo Villa de Madrid.
