Michelle Obama has just made some BIG changes to her hair
And she couldn’t look more incredible
After leaving the White House, it seems America’s former First Lady Michelle Obama has been getting more and more daring in the beauty department.
Earlier this year, she debuted this wild turquoise mani (we think Cardi B would approve), and now she’s stepped out with fresh new hair that’s quite unlike anything we’ve seen her do before.
Michelle unveiled her curly hairstyle while joining American journalist Gayle King on stage at the 2019 Essence Festival to chat about her memoir I Am Becoming as well as “relationships and just how hard it is as women to put ourselves first”.
Check it out:
Those have to be some of the prettiest sun-kissed highlights we’ve even seen!
But the part that we’re falling ourselves over most – her tight curls! Get a load of those gorgeous things. We’re guessing that’s her natural hair texture and we are ENVIOUS.
While serving as First Lady, Michelle was known for her sleekly blow-dried dark locks and we are loving this change.
After catching glimpses of Michelle’s natural curls a couple of times while she’s been enjoying family vacays over the years, we’ve been hanging out for them to make a proper public appearance.
And it seems Michelle’s followers are into her new look too, with many rushing to Twitter to declare their love for her hair.
"You're beautiful inside and out. Love your hair!!!" one fan wrote while another enthused: "I LOVE Michelle's hair!!!".
"I cannot tell you how much I love your curly hair. And your life and principles, your kids and your husband too, but that hair makes me happy," another excited fan Tweeted.
Hopefully this will just be the first of many outings for Michelle’s natural curls!
Speaking of celebrity hair changes, Beyoncé’s mum recently cut Bey’s hair, giving us all a glimpse of her natural hair.
