17 popular beauty brands you didn’t know were vegan
Apologies in advance: You’re going to want ALL of these
It seems that over the past few years, brands are *finally* getting on board the vegan and cruelty-free beauty train. But when we think about this category of beauty, we tend to picture local, small batch products that aren’t available in big ol’ department stores and brands that don’t deliver the same level of results as our favourite mainstream products.
However, you’ll actually find that there are quite a lot of brands you already know and love that are 100 per cent vegan or thereabouts, so taking a more caring approach to your beauty routine isn’t as hard as you might think.
To give you a quick rundown, vegan products are those that haven’t been tested on animals and are free from animal by-products (e.g. beeswax). Cruelty-free products are products that are not tested on animals.
If you’d like to make the switch to vegan and cruelty-free products, these are some of our favourite brands that are well-known for their cult products, but lesser known for their vegan stance…until now!
