Jenna Dewan just shared her 10-minute everyday makeup look
And her concealer trick is absolute gold
Jenna Dewan just broke down her 10-minute everyday makeup routine and it actually looks pretty doable. FINALLY!
The star took to her YouTube channel, revealing the exact products she uses for her minimal everyday makeup look and man, she’s got it down pat.
She captioned the tutorial, “I’ve learned a lot of tips from makeup artists over the years, and while I get my makeup done by them more often than not, I stick to this simple routine if I’m just running around town!”
After her meticulous skin care routine (check out one of her favourite skin care tools), which includes using plenty of sunscreen, Jenna starts by applying her favourite concealer.
“I always start with the Clé De Peau Beauté Concealer,” she says. “This is so indicative to my life…it’s what I use every single time. This stuff is magic.”
She says that sometimes a swipe of Clé De Peau Beauté Concealer is all she uses (yes, we need this concealer, like, right now), but for days when she prefers a little more coverage, she opts for SUQQU Frame Fix, which is a foundation.
For a natural-looking, glossy eye, she reaches for Jillian Dempsey Lid Tint in Bronze: “This for everyday – I’m obsessed with,” she says. “Put it on your finger and dab it on your eye and it gives you a little dewy smoky eye kind of look - very easy.”
For lashes, Jenna opts for the shu uemura eyelash curler. “Sometimes I don’t even wear mascara and I still use it. Then I use Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes."
She then uses TWO different types of concealer under her eyes. Yep, this is a thing we didn’t know about.
She starts by using IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer, drawing small triangles under each eye and blending. She then reaches for Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer and pops one dot of product under each eye, before blending again.
“A lot of makeup artists use this on set and it immediately takes away under-eye circles and brightens the area.”
Noted.
Next up she sweeps on some highlighter and blush from a palette by non other than friend, Chrissy Teigen. “I’m not just saying this because she’s my friend. Chrissy Teigen created the best blush/highlighting compact with Becca (Becca x Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette) and I use it everyday.”
Jenna first starts with the highlighter, mixing two shades together, before applying a swipe of blush to the apples of her cheeks, “It really brightens up your face immediately.”
“If I’m feeling a little crazy, I’ll use some bronzer and go around the outside and the jawline and bring it down to the neck,” she adds.
Using Anastasia Beverly Hills Perfect Brow Pencil, Jenna also reveals a neat little brow trick that we’re totally going to steal for ourselves. “My trick is that I only fill in a little bit at the top to round out the brow. I don’t like an overdone brow. I just do the top because it works on my face.”
