The blemish treatments Madelaine Petsch swears by for flawless skin

From our POV, it seems like Riverdale star Madelaine Petsch has pretty perfect skin. But despite her unicorn-like ability to pull off a red lip better than anyone else on the planet, it turns out she’s only human, and she deals with spurts of acne just like the rest of us.

“I typically get breakouts on my chin and my forehead,” Petsch revealed in a recent YouTube video, going on to explain her quick and easy fix for sending pimples packing.

“[I love] little pimple patches which I wear all the time – [they’re] my favourite thing on the planet,” she spilled – quite the ringing endorsement, right?

“I have a couple of different kinds that I like – these are the Peter Thomas Roth [ones]; they’re clear, they’re great, they work well. Skyn Iceland Blemish Dots are the same thing; they also work well. I also found the COSRX hydrocolloid patches – I haven’t had as much success with these [yet, but] I know they’re supposed to actually pull out the pus inside of your pimple.”

But Petsch isn't going to let a spot or two keep her home, either – in fact, she keeps a ‘going out’ option in her pimple patch wardrobe, too.

“Something that I love when I want to do my full skin care routine but still have to see people and go out in the world are these little flower ones,” she shares, showing off Squish Beauty’s floral pimple patch pack.

“I went to dinner with Skeet [Ulrich, who plays F.P. Jones on Riverdale] last night, and I wore one of these out. They’re so cute, [but] they’re still pimple patches and they still work incredibly well.”

Well, we certainly know what we’re doing the next time we get a blemish – it’s good to know our new pimple patches are Petsch-approved.
