Kendall Jenner’s 2-second hairstyle is set to become your new staple
It’s no secret that Kendall Jenner LOVES a nostalgic hair trend.
Earlier this year, we saw her at Tiffany & Co.’s new flagship store opening in Sydney completely *owning* one of our fave ‘90s hair trends, and we’ve been wearing tendrils ever since.
She also made hair clips cool again and we are so thankful.
Not only are her retro hair revivals inspiring, they’re a cinch to copy, too.
And we’ve just seen her out and about in New York rocking yet another throwback winner.
Love. It.
It’s simple yet chic and basically a grown-up version of the old half-up/half-down hair we were all partial to during our childhood.
The best part? This hairstyle requires basically zero time (and minimal hairstyling skills!) to execute.
Kendall put a sophisticated spin on this classic style by twisting a side section of her hair before pinning it back. Not only does this simple detail help keep the hair more securely held back, it also opens the face, drawing attention to Kendall’s gorgeous cheekbones.
Now if anyone else is thinking they’d like to copy Kendall’s look, we’ve got some tips…
First of all, use a comb to part your hair down the centre.
Then take a section either side of your face and twist it upwards and away from the face before securing it at the back of the head with bobby pins.
Twisting the hair upwards rather than downwards is a clever trick that ensures the angled line of your cheekbone is continued so your face appears more lifted.
Once you’ve got your sections pinned in place, generously mist your hair with a good finishing spray for extra hold (we love Kevin.Murphy Session Spray Flex) and you’re good to go.
So there you have it: A cute hairstyle you can do in a flash.
Thanks, Kendall!
