Jennifer Aniston has given everyone a rare glimpse of her natural hair texture for the first time in years
Plus her hairstylist has revealed all the key products for achieving her look
When thinking of Jennifer Aniston’s hair, no doubt your mind will be drawn to the highlighted, layered style she wore during her ten years as Rachel Green on Friends. Of course, key to 'The Rachel' look was her signature blowout – always sleek, straight and super smooth.
Given that we’ve spent so many years seeing Jennifer on the screen with straight hair, it may come as a surprise that her natural hair texture is in fact very different to Rachel’s.
While doing the press rounds for her new web television series The Morning Show, Jennifer showed off a rare glimpse at her natural hair texture, and she couldn’t have looked more stunning.
Wow. Jennifer, why have you been keeping these beautiful curls from us?!
Best of all, Jennifer’s hairstylist Chris McMillan revealed the full details on achieving the look in an Instagram post.
“This was such an honour to be a part of. The hair is Jen’s natural curl and waves. Dried natural and touched up minimally with blow-drying the roots for direction and touching up random pieces with a wave iron,” wrote Chris before revealing the products used.
After blow-drying the hair using the Dyson Supersonic™ Hair Dryer and touching it up using a ghd styler (Chris hasn’t specified which one but our guess is the ghd original IV styler), Chris reached for his styling products.
Chris layered on a product line-up that included Harklinikken Leave In Hair Hydrating Créme (this one isn’t available in Australia but we love R+Co High Dive Moisture and Shine Crème), Shu Uemure Art of Hair Shape Paste Sculpting Putty and a product we’ve never heard of - Drunk Elephant Detangling Spray.
Yep, you read that correctly - it seems the cult skin care brand has a hair care range in the works with Drunk Elephant even confirming in a comment on the post the new product is “not quite available yet!”.
What a score! All the tips on styling natural curls like Jen’s plus a tipoff on Drunk Elephant’s new hair care range.
Yep, we can see many good hair days on the horizon.
