Hilary Duff reveals the inspo behind her dreamy wedding day hair
Her chic style is perfect for low maintenance brides
In case you missed it, Hilary Duff was married to her beau Matthew Koma last week in an intimate ceremony at their Los Angeles home. And, her bridal beauty look couldn't have been dreamier.
Now, the Lizzie McGuire star has revealed all the secrets behind her dreamy wedding day hair while shooting a behind-the-scenes video about her wedding dress fitting for Vogue.
Ahead of the wedding, Hilary went for a dramatic chop, cutting her previously long locks into a chic blunt cut bob.
“I have newly short hair and I really wanted it off my face and back behind my ears but with a little bit of a wave so it has a little bit of texture. But, nothing too curly and nothing too straight,” Hilary said while chatting through her bridal hair inspo.
“I have a high-necked dress and I didn’t want my hair bunched up. I love this idea that it’s back, it’s off my face.”
To ensure her hair was at the perfect length for her gown on the big day, the actress had yet another haircut the morning of the wedding.
“We actually just cut another inch off it this morning to make sure it clears my neckline,” said Hilary.
To add some glamour to her relatively simple ‘do, Hilary accessorised her bob with a stunning diamond and pearl-adorned necklace by designer Jennifer Behr.
Hilary’s look is perfect for the low maintenance bride who’d like to appear polished and elegant but doesn’t care for a complex upstyle. If you’d like to copy Hilary’s look, a similar Jennifer Behr hairband is available here.
