So before you book your usual with your colourist, get familiar with the breakout trend of the season: copper-blonde. Not only is it taking over the salons of some of the biggest names in the hair industry, it’s making its way to the red carpet, too.
Leaving behind the darker auburn tones that were trending earlier this year, copper-blonde brings a warm and creamy twist to reddish-blonde hues, resulting in a rich but understated finish.
Cult celebrity stylist Josh Wood can’t get enough of the look, which he recently brought to the runway at the Marc Jacobs show during New York Fashion week. It’s also made its way to the Emmy awards, where Brittany Snow lightened her auburn locks with honey-blonde highlights.
