The Kim Kardashian-approved way to freshen up your brunette hair

When it comes to 2019’s most in-demand hair trends, monotone colours are nowhere in sight. Instead, multi-toned hues that add depth and dimension are where it’s at.

And we’ve just spied a striking new highlighted hair look that melds two of our favourite colour trends of now…

Stunning, right?! We’re loving the subtle graduation in colour between Kim’s highlighted caramel lengths and her darker chocolate roots.

When it comes to this hair trend, bespoke is the word of the hour. Hairstylist and global winner of L’Oréal Professionnel’s Style & Colour Trophy Wendy Gunn advises that as with any hair colour changes, your individual traits must be carefully contemplated.

“[The colour] needs to enhance the face shape as well as suit the skin tone and their eye colour,” says Gunn.

To get Kim’s bronde’mbre look, Gunn recommends using a combination of colouring processes including balayage and fine handwoven foils before completing the look with a glaze for that glossy finish.
