11 of the best new beauty launches this September 2019

By going from cool, wintery weather to warm spring days comes the urge to change to a spritz that’s lighter and fresher… it’s a no-brainer, right? This month, we’re loving Yves Saint Laurent Libre EDP, which is bursting with refreshing notes of orange blossom, neroli and mandarin, while being carefully balanced with vanilla and amber. This fragrance is so easy to wear, we guarantee you’ll be reaching for it on the daily. 

It’s been a while since we’ve seen a gradual tanning jelly on shelves, but we’re so glad they’re back. ModelCo’s version is loaded with seven per cent DHA to darken your skin within two to four hours, but what we’re cheering about most is the addition of coconut oil, vitamin E and sorbitol to lock in moisture and soften your skin, ensuring a long-lasting bronzed glow. Available September 16. 

If you’re as obsessed with jelly textures as much as we are (can you tell we’re pretty hooked?!), then you won’t want to miss Trilogy’s Hydrating Jelly Mask. It contains hyaluronic acid, manuka honey and rosehip oil in its formula to provide an intense burst of hydration.

We’re yet to come across a Charlotte Tilbury product that we didn’t like. Her new Airbrush Flawless Foundation is exactly as the name suggests: it’s a mattifying formula that feels really lightweight, and has the ability to blur fine lines and enlarged pores without caking. We’re obsessed. 

One of our favourite ways to remove our makeup at the end of the day is with a cleansing oil, as they feel nice when massaged into skin, and they’re gentle on all skin types yet hardworking enough to melt away waterproof and long-wearing formulas. This month, we’re reaching for Raww Cosmetics Super-Hydrate ME Cleansing Oil, which works best when applied on dry skin, before being emulsified with warm water. 

Don’t underestimate the soft bullet of Maybelline’s SuperStay Ink Crayon: the brand promises that the high-impact colour can last up to eight hours of wear (yep, even after eating and drinking ). Plus, its fine tip is perfect for precisely etching around the corners of your mouth and Cupid’s bow.

The easiest way to up your shelfie game this month is with the Thankyou and Sage x Clare Botanical Aloe Vera & Lemon Oil Hand Wash. Housed in a pretty pastel bottle which draws inspiration from a Moroccan garden, it’s a surefire way to brighten any bathroom space. 

The eyeshadow palette that has stolen our hearts this September is Zoeva’s Soft Sun Voyager Eyeshadow Palette, which shows off dusk and sunset-inspired tones. Our favourite colour is Red Sea, which surprisingly works wonders for drawing attention to blue or green eyes.
