Will Ferrell has just launched a sunscreen

We thought KFC entering the beauty sphere was unexpected, but with the news coming out of the US that comedic actor Will Ferrell is launching his first ever sunscreen, we just don't know what to expect anymore. 

And in case you have the same first thought we did, no, this isn’t a joke. 

The SPF 30 sunscreen is fittingly named "Will Ferrell’s Super Mega Sexy Hot Tan", and features a giant picture of his head photoshopped onto a rather hilarious speedo-wearing beach body.

The sunscreen tube also displays inspiring quotes from the Anchorman actor like, "The sun is an evil celestial demon. It tricks us into worshiping it with its warm alluring rays and bright primary colour. Don't be fooled. It wants to destroy us and is hell bent on world domination." 

And let’s face it, he’s not wrong. In case you’re wondering about the product’s credibility, rest assured it’s been formulated to actually work, as Ferrell explains: “I've worked in my lab with a team of skin scientists and retired astronaut Brock Sternum to create what we think is our best sunscreen yet.” 

Hilarity and novelty factor aside, if you need more of a reason to purchase this comical product, make this your motive: the actor has created the sunscreen for College For Cancer, a charity that provides college scholarships to cancer survivors. 

So not only is the man funny, but also has a heart of gold.
