Besides being a powerful advocate for body confidence and spokesperson against online bullying, Abbie is also a total beauty icon. From her gorgeous, glowing skin to her stunning blonde curls, the girl has got it all going on.
So, when we got the chance to catch up with Abbie, of course we asked her to dish on all her beauty secrets.
Here’s our exclusive interview.
What are your favourite body products of now?
“My absolute holy grail right now is the Bangn Body Firming Lotion. It smells amazing and hydrates my skin. I’ve also been using it on my face for some acne scarring that I got from constantly picking my face. For maintaining my fake tan, though, I love the Bondi Sands Body Moisturiser, it smells like coconuts and when you rub it into your skin it absorbs so easily.”
What are you loving skin care wise?
“I love anything by a La Roche Posay, The Ordinary and Kiehls. I alternate in using Kiehls Rare Earth Deep Pore Daily Cleanser and the Effaclar Foaming Gel from La Roche Posay as well as the Micellar Foaming Water Face Cleanser, also from La Roche Posay. I use the Bohemian Skin Facial Cleansing Brush - it has helped so much after my skin declined after filming.”
“I also love the Squalene cleanser from The Ordinary to remove makeup, it works so well and is great for my sensitive skin, and I am obsessed with the Hyaluronic Acid from them as well.”
Your natural curls are so gorgeous! What do you use?
“I am using BondiBoost’s new Curl Boss range at the moment and am loving it, my hair has already become thicker and longer. I also love the Giovanni Natural Styling Gel.”
And, how about makeup?
“My best purchase of this year was the Grab & Glow Palette by Keira from Harlotte Cosmetics. It has everything you need, four eyeshadows, a blush, a highlighter and bronzer. I can make a million looks with it, and it is perfect for how often I travel. Another purchase that I am obsessed with is the Kevin Acuoin The Curling Mascara. It tubes off, so I haven’t had panda eyes all year!”
Heading into the festive season, what are your favourite go-to beauty looks? Are there any particular makeup looks or hairstyles you’re loving?
“At the moment, like everyone else, I am loving clips! With curly hair I feel like it looks like I’ve put no effort in if I just leave it out, so I love putting a cute clip in the side of my hair, or doing a cute half up half down look with some clips in there somewhere.”
“With makeup, I have become really minimal, using natural shadows with the odd shimmer over the top. I’ve recently started getting lash lifts and it’s changed my whole makeup routine. If you’re thinking of getting one, do it!”
