The top-selling natural beauty brands around Australia
You gotta get your hands on these
It’s no secret that natural beauty is absolutely BOOMING – and it’s not just ‘another beauty trend’. People are becoming more aware of what they’re putting on their skin, choosing to reach for better-for-you beauty options that are free from chemicals and other nasties.
What’s more, big beauty brands and retail conglomerates have jumped on board, making natural skin care products more accessible than ever before. Good one, guys!
When we spoke to Australia's leading beauty retailers, they revealed to us just how huge the shift to natural beauty formulas is here in Australia.
MECCA’s Creative Director Marita Burke said natural beauty is one of their fastest growing categories, and has recently grown by a whopping 55 per cent Australia-wide. “Here at MECCA, we segment our Mindful Beauty brands beyond the broad description of ‘natural’ as we have found our customers to be equally interested in so many different aspects of what was historically simply called ‘natural’,” says Burke. “Our customer is not only interested in ingredients, but also vegan and cruelty-free brands and products, as well as sustainable packaging.”
At Adore Beauty, founder Kate Morris says they’re seeing the most growth in “ingredient-focused brands”. She says, “At the same time, we're also seeing huge growth (approximately 400 per cent) in dermal rollers and face rollers, which are a natural but effective way to induce collagen production in the skin”.
Priceline Pharmacy Skin Care Buyer Liz has also noticed a surge in natural beauty, revealing that Priceline Pharmacy now stock 18 natural skincare brands and are growing this range every year. “The natural category is in double digit sales growth YTD vs LY.”
