The product that transforms Sarah Hyland's skin after a long haul flight

"It’s a super-easy, on-the-go product"

Sarah Hyland is a bonafide beauty lover, and the kind of girl that we truly understand.

She wore a full face of Charlotte Tilbury on her wedding day, and she's spent hours trying to perfect the Ariana Grande ponytail. In other words — she's just like us.

To solidify our belief that Hyland's one of the girls, the 33 year old just shared her favourite products, and one of our favourite makeup products made the list.

"I love Rare Beauty liquid blush ($45 from Sephora)," she told Glamour, going on to say that it's a must-have for refreshing your complexion after a long haul flight.

"You can literally use it as a blush and an eye shadow, so it’s a super-easy, on-the-go product for a little colour," she explained to the publication.

To keep it in place, while maintaining a natural-looking finish she likes to apply a light misting of setting spray over the top. Though she hasn't revealed if she has a favourite, she did tell Glamour that the right setting spray can be a gamechanger.

"When you're sweating and crying and stressed out it just keeps everything in place, so at least it looks like you have it all together," she joked.

Personally, our new favourite setting spray is Maybelline's Superstay Double Fixer Super Spray ($14.49 from Priceline), because it's affordable, sweat, oil, and transfer-resistant. Plus, it's infused with a hydrating blend of squalane and vitamin E.

But we're also partial to old favourites like M.A.C Cosmetics Fix+ Original Setting Spray ($54 from M.A.C Cosmetics) and the Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Makeup Setting Spray ($66 from Sephora) when we have a bit more cash to splash on makeup.

Sarah Hyland's not the only celebrity focused on perfecting her skin before her plane lands. Rihanna's in-flight beauty routine will get you to your destination looking dewy.

Briar Clark got her start in the media industry in 2017, as an intern for Marie Claire and InStyle. Since then, her keen interest in fashion and beauty has landed her gigs as a Digital Content Producer and Beauty Editor with titles like Girlfriend, Refinery29, BEAUTYcrew and beautyheaven. She loves the way seemingly innocuous topics like skin care and style have the ability to put a smile on people’s faces or make them think about themselves a little differently. A big believer in self love and experimentation, Briar has made a point of becoming the Australian beauty industry’s unofficial guinea pig for unusual treatments and daring hair trends. When she’s not testing out the latest beauty launches, Briar is big on broadening her horizons, mostly in the form of food but she’s also partial to travelling to new destinations both near and far (and of course, allocating an extra bag to bring their best beauty offerings home with her).
