This Chemist Warehouse find is a dupe for Rihanna’s favourite perfume
Word on the street is that Rihanna smells amazing. Celebs like Cardi B, Jennifer Lawrence, Lil Nas X and even Sarah Paulson, have all confirmed across various media channels that RiRi bears the scent of literal heaven. And considering the woman looks luscious every day of the year, there's no doubt in our mind that their word isn’t true and that she’s just as easy on the nose.
Back in 2016, a close friend confirmed that Rihanna wore the super exxy perfume, Love by Killian Don’t Be Shy ($350 at David Jones) – a floral gourmand fragrance that features a blend of sweet, musky notes such as marshmallow, orange blossom and neroli.
Unfortunately for those of us who haven’t had a lucrative music career, a globally successful beauty company and a high-end luxury clothing line, throwing approx. $350 good Aussie dollars at a fragrance is not on our to-do list.
Luckily, there’s a dupe for this high-end spritz and it’s available at your local Chemist Warehouse – we do love an affordable beauty find.
YSL’s Libre ($139.99 at Chemist Warehouse) hits the spot perfectly with a fragrance blend that’s anchored down by the same notes of orange blossom present in RiRi’s pick, as well as hints of lavender and vanilla to tie in those lovely warm, sweet, floral characteristics that everyone loves about the original Don’t Be Shy scent.
Plus with an RRP of $180, it’ll gain prime position in your perfume collection for almost half the price (or more if you catch it on sale).
Rihanna is leading the way for the uneducated. She just schooled followers on the importance of wearing SPF year-round.

Briar Clark got her start in the media industry in 2017, as an intern for Marie Claire and InStyle. Since then, her keen interest in fashion and beauty has landed her gigs as a Digital Content Producer and Beauty Editor with titles like Girlfriend, Refinery29, BEAUTYcrew and beautyheaven. She loves the way seemingly innocuous topics like skin care and style have the ability to put a smile on people’s faces or make them think about themselves a little differently. A big believer in self love and experimentation, Briar has made a point of becoming the Australian beauty industry’s unofficial guinea pig for unusual treatments and daring hair trends. When she’s not testing out the latest beauty launches, Briar is big on broadening her horizons, mostly in the form of food but she’s also partial to travelling to new destinations both near and far (and of course, allocating an extra bag to bring their best beauty offerings home with her).
