Such a game changer, this has such a smooth perfecting velvet like texture. A little goes a long way, it’s not so much a creamy feeling it’s closer to a balm. Makeup lasts all day when I’ve placed this on before. Amazing. Great for a light moister before makeup and makes such a perfect primer or base for your foundation. The packaging is pretty and looks expensive, also has a real cute look to it. Perfect size, easy to put in your makeup bag and chuck in your handbag or overnight bag. Defiantly a must have for your daily glow up!!

I was a bit unsure at the start on how to take some of the products out of the beautiful container when I first opened the Revlon Illuminance Balm Primer. It has a thick and soft consistency so it was a bit tricky to take some of the products from the container but when I finally got some products into my hands and applied it on my face, it glided easily on my skin. It almost melts nice and quick, making it easier to apply all over my face. Despite initially having the first impression of thick consistency, it actually has a lightweight and non-greasy texture. It is also fast-absorbing while leaving the skin soft and smooth without looking oily or greasy. It is great as a makeup base while feeling moisturised throughout the day.

This balm primer is feels absolutely amazing on my skin! I really like the soft creamy texture and how hydrating it leaves my skin feeling. I really enjoyed the light scent as it melts into my skin which prime's my skin for my foundation. I wish this was a little bit more matte finish but overall it has improved my skin texture and hydration and will definitely keep using it. This bottle fits perfectly for travel or even my makeup bag and will sharing this awesome prime with my friends for sure.

Overall I enjoyed using the Revlon Illuminance Balm Primer. I usually just use a light sunscreen as my primer base so was pleased to try this. I did find it moisturising and enjoyed the feeling on my skin. It creates a smooth, hydrated base and gives the skin a nice glow. However, I found that if not left long enough to absorb, it can leave an oily sheen that feels uncomfortable throughout the day. Thankfully, this is easily fixed by allowing it time to soak in before applying makeup. Once fully absorbed, it enhances a dewy, radiant finish. A great choice for those who love a luminous look!

I really enjoyed using this product. It gives me skin a really nice texture under foundation and I think my skin looks noticably better compared to without the product. I especially liked that I didn’t have to use both moisturiser and primer - I live in Brisbane and in the heat it can feel like a lot wearing multiple products. Overall I’m very happy with this product and the way it performs. I think it’s a good price point for something of this level and also easy to find in store being a pharmacy available product.

Amazing product!!!! The way it sinks into the skin is amazing. I have used it as a primer and as a moisturiser both and the finish it gives is amazing. Non greasy and non shiny. I have an oily t-zone area but my makeup didn’t budge a little or I felt extra oily after 6 hours. If I would have to change one thing I would definitely make it fragrance free. I am a lover of fragrance free products. You can easily compare it to high end products available in the market like bobby brown, but revlon make it easily accessible . Love the packaging and the colour of bottle. Overall an amazing product, definitely recommended and buying it again.

Easy to use and effective! I enjoyed the balm texture. A small amount goes a long way, so I applied it to to just washed skin and let it sit and melt into my skin before applying my usual foundation on top. The primer helped to smooth out the lines on my face, and my skin texture appeared dewy and natural. I like that it doesn't clump on the face, and it doesn't separate from the foundation. It appeared nice and seamless, achieving the look I was going for. It didn't irritate my skin or cause any rashes. It has a simple scent, not too overbearing. Works well

this was a great product, it had a nice citrus scent and kept my makeup on for long without powders and setting sprays. it had a nice semi matte finish and the texture of the cream was like jelly. a little bit went a very long way, and i didn’t find my makeup melting off at all. i found that the tub holds a lot and a little goes a long way for the best makeup look, if you used too much it went too matte for my liking but if you like that then i recommend so. i would def recommend this product and it would work for many types of skin as i have combination skin and i had no issues with it at all.

First impressions was the scent was quite nice and not to over powering and the tub is a generous size. It's a very light cream and absorbs extremely quickly but I found my skin to get oily on warmer days if I used to much. I get dry skin and this definitely resolved that problem especially around my nose area. My makeup definitely held up all day long and I didn't use a setting spray to make sure the test wasn't compromised so that saves me a extra step when i don't have time which is great. I would buy this product as it works and the tub would last me ages.

However, I did find that applying it directly from the stick could tug on the skin a little, so I prefer to warm it up on my fingers before smoothing it on. texture wise it’s lightweight and non-greasy, which is great for everyday use. It absorbs quickly and does leave the skin feeling soft and smooth. However, if you have oily skin, you might find that it adds a bit more shine than you’d like. For using Under Makeup As a primer, it does a decent job of creating a smooth base, but I didn’t notice a huge improvement in how long my makeup lasted. I have oily t- zone & makeup was off by the afternoon on my nose as usual. It works well under lightweight foundations, but if you use a heavier or matte formula, it might not grip as well. Scent & Finish There’s no overpowering scent, which Is nice. The finish is dewy, which is lovely for a natural glow, but if you prefer a matte look, you may need to set it with powder. This primer would best be suited for those with dry to normal skin who like a dewy finish. If you have oily skin or need long-wear performance, this might not be the best option. I wouldn’t call it a must-have, but it’s a nice option if you’re looking for a hydrating primer with a balm texture. It was nice to trial and I did like it however I probably wouldn’t repurchase unless I seen it on a really good sale.

The Revlon illuminance moisturise and prime is a good product for keeping skin hydrated for makeup application. It doesn’t make my skin feel oily, it just makes it look and feel more soft. The cream isn’t too thick so it absorbs into the skin quickly. It doesn’t leave any oily feeling on your skin. There is a slight scent but it’s not over powering. It hasn’t made me break out or dry my skin out or cause any rashes. The jar it comes in is nice. You can use it alone as just a moisturiser or as a primer is well. I will recommend it to friends and family.

I got sent this product as part of the Beauty Review Crew. I really liked this product. It smells lovely and fresh and has a really nice texture. I found that it applied really well and felt like it added hydration to my very dry skin. It layered very well with a few of my different foundations/BB creams and didn’t seam to impact on the final finish, maybe made it slightly dewier but not shine or greasy. My make up stayed put all day as usual so it had no negative impact upon the durability of the products I layering top of it. I had to keep hiding this from my daughter who had become obsessed with it so it must be good. I’d buy it again as a nice base for everyday make up looks.
