Giorgio Armani Prive Vert Malachite EDP

A heady, creamy-floral-vanillic powerhouse. Rich, dense, very sophisticated. Vert Malachite opens with a room-engulfing plume of scent; there’s orange and petitgrain but it’s outshone by the almost syrupy floral-vanillic bouquet of the middle and base. The petitgrain carries through the middle where it lends a sharpness to the creamy yellow bouquet of ylang-ylang, pink pepper, and ever-so-slightly indolic jasmine. Then there’s the lily; beautiful, sweet, green-tinged white. The middle is arresting in its devolution from yellow floral to white lily accord. The dry down is all rich, sweet vanilla & benzoin backboned by that green-tinged white lily. A whimsically opulent fragrance of exceptional quality.
