Actress Pia Miller reveals her summer beauty tips
Advertorial: And the one beauty product she’s used since high school
For Home & Away star (and marie claire cover girl) Pia Miller, life really is a beach. The mother of two can be found on the sand year-round, either for work (Home & Away is filmed on Palm Beach) or play.
The newly crowned Gilette Venus Ambassador says shaving is an essential part of her beauty routine, and the Venus ComfortGlide is her secret to keeping her skin smooth for an eternal summer.
“Whether for work or with my boys, I spend a lot of time at the beach,” Pia says. “So being beach ready is a must and that includes having prepped pins!”
As a quick and instant hair-removal fix, shaving gives Miller the confidence to know she can be beach-ready at any time of year. “Once I have a smooth base, I feel ready for the day,” she says. “The Venus ComfortGlide leaves my skin feeling reinvigorated, thanks to the moisture bars enriched with body butter that minimise irritation.”
Pia’s daily beauty routine begins in the shower. “In summer I like to prep my body by doing a gentle exfoliation and then I use the Venus ComfortGlide for a close and comfortable shave,” she says. “I also like to use a good hair mask once a week to keep my locks smooth and sleek, swap lipstick for a hydrating lip balm and apply a light tinted moisturiser with SPF to keep my look fresh-faced and dewy.”
As for when she hits the beach? “A tinted sunscreen is a must - I love being outdoors and try to get as much vitamin D as possible, while still being sun smart. At the beach you will always find me in an oversized hat too!”
“My beach bag always includes a Turkish towel, lip balm, sea salt spray, lots of water, sunnies and a good summer read,” Pia adds. Add to that a healthy dose of body confidence and you have all the makings of an amazing summer.
