This is an ode to all of Maya Jama’s hair and makeup looks
Move over, Stormzy
Maya Jama stole hearts all over the world (and the attention of every male contestant) when she rocked up to host the latest season of Love Island UK.
But this isn’t the presenter’s first time turning looks for television. Host of Glow Up: Britain’s Next Makeup Star, Celebrity Juice and Don’t Hate The Playaz, Jama’s got a resume of jealousy-inducing jobs.
Ex-boyfriend Stormzy even wrote a few songs about the bombshell beauty, including “Hide & Seek”, which he performed in front of Jama at the 2023 Brit Awards (talk about an awkward run-in with your ex).
But, after taking a browse through Letitia Sophia’s Instagram (Jama’s makeup artist), it’s easy to see why everyone is so obsessed with the 28-year-old.
Maya Jama’s Top 10 Hair & Makeup Looks
Jama’s not the only British babe we’re obsessed with. Simone Ashley’s hair and makeup moments are equally as mesmerising.

Briar Clark got her start in the media industry in 2017, as an intern for Marie Claire and InStyle. Since then, her keen interest in fashion and beauty has landed her gigs as a Digital Content Producer and Beauty Editor with titles like Girlfriend, Refinery29, BEAUTYcrew and beautyheaven. She loves the way seemingly innocuous topics like skin care and style have the ability to put a smile on people’s faces or make them think about themselves a little differently. A big believer in self love and experimentation, Briar has made a point of becoming the Australian beauty industry’s unofficial guinea pig for unusual treatments and daring hair trends. When she’s not testing out the latest beauty launches, Briar is big on broadening her horizons, mostly in the form of food but she’s also partial to travelling to new destinations both near and far (and of course, allocating an extra bag to bring their best beauty offerings home with her).
