How to make it look like you’re wearing false lashes, when you’re actually not
Advertorial: The simple solution that’ll transform your lashes
A set of false lashes is one of those double-edged sword beauty products. They can completely transform short, straight or sparse lashes into something quite magical, but they are also notoriously tricky to master. From measuring a strip and cutting it to size, to the actual application or feeling uncomfortable while wearing fake lashes, there are plenty of roadblocks that can make one quick to ditch the idea altogether.
So what’s a false lash-averse girl to do in the pursuit of lash perfection? Accept her fate?
Nup, thankfully we live in a wonderful time where you can fake a false lash look with a simple swipe (or two) of mascara. The catch, though, is finding the right one to do just that.
Introducing one of L’Oréal’s newest mascara additions – the dual-ended L’Oréal Paris False Lash X-Fiber – that has been specifically created and formulated to replicate the look that false lashes or lash extensions can give. AKA the perfect mascara for women who want that kind of dramatic result, without the effort.
So how exactly does it work to achieve extreme length and volume?
Well, you need to start by priming your lashes with the ‘1’ end of the wand. The black primer works to volumise and thicken the look of each of your lashes. The formula is buildable, so you can apply coats as needed to achieve your preferred level of volume.
Then, it’s on to the ‘2’ wand to increase your lash length. The ultra-black formula is jam-packed with fibres (there are 20 times more fibres than L’Oréal’s original False Lash Superstar Mascara), which help to elongate your lashes. This formula is also buildable, so it can be applied up to seven times, or until you’ve reached your desired result.
If you want to get an idea of the effects the lengthening and volumising mascara can have, here’s how it compares to bare lashes:
And here it is compared to a set of natural false lashes:
And, finally, how it stacks up against dramatic false lashes:
