Kylie Jenner's makeup artist just humbled her with a savage practical joke
Let’s be real, there’s something oh-so-satisfying about getting one over on one of your friends with a practical joke.
Hands up who’s deliberately assaulted a loved one's face with excessive amounts of makeup and poor application techniques before a night out? Or promised your BFF a trendy reverse cat eye only to leave them looking like the unfortunate love child of Gene Simmons and Lady Gaga five minutes before the Uber shows up?
Yeah, same, because what’s love without a bit of fruity friction, right?
Turns out we’re not the only ones with a demonic funny bone either.
Kylie Jenner’s makeup artist and friend Ariel Tejada got one over on the beauty mogul with some less than perfect liner – though Kylie was clearly feeling herself too much to notice…
Jenner recently uploaded a video to TikTok simply titled ‘drafts’ in which she can be seen flirting with the camera selfie-style.
In the distance? Ariel’s voice dropping this humbling line on the 24-year-old: “Do you like the unevenness of your waterline? Like your lip line?”
Her face says it all…
We’ve no idea what happened after this hilarious moment, but we can only hope Jenner got hers back and gave Ariel a taste of his own medicine with some equally effed up liner.

Wondering what Jenner would look like if she went solo (sorry Ariel)? Here’s Kylie Jenner without makeup.

Since then, her keen interest in fashion and beauty has landed her gigs as a Digital Content Producer and Beauty Editor with titles like Girlfriend, Refinery29, BEAUTYcrew and beautyheaven. She loves the way seemingly innocuous topics like skin care and style have the ability to put a smile on people’s faces or make them think about themselves a little differently. A big believer in self love and experimentation, Briar has made a point of becoming the Australian beauty industry’s unofficial guinea pig for unusual treatments and daring hair trends. When she’s not testing out the latest beauty launches, Briar is big on broadening her horizons, mostly in the form of food but she’s also partial to travelling to new destinations both near and far (and of course, allocating an extra bag to bring their best beauty offerings home with her).
