Kylie Jenner has a *very* rogue lip balm favourite (and it's only $16)
When we think of celebrity lips, it's hard not to think of Kylie Jenner. With her iconic lip kits and the *um* questionable origins of her lip plumpness, Jenner has been synonymous for a perfected pout for years.
But it turns out, her hydrated full lips aren't just thinks to Kylie Cosmetics. Nope they're down to this one seriously surprising mum-hack.
Nipple cream. Yep, you heard us. Kylie Jenner smears her lips with nipple cream and we've got it on record. And TBH if you ask most mums out there, they'll swear by the stuff as being the best balm on the market. Ahem, we've got questions...
Kylie Jenner Nipple Cream
The ultra-hydrating, sensitive skin-friendly key ingredient is lanolin, which, it turns out is the key to having incredibly luscious lips. Jenner calls her purple tube of Lansinoh HPA Lanolin ($16.45 at Chemist Warehouse) "the best secret".
Not totally ready to smear your pout with nipple cream? We get it, it really does make a statement to pull that tube out of your bag. But thankfully the secret ingredient (lanolin) is found in some other delectably hydrating lip balms. Our top three?
Lanolin-based balms
The iconic Aussie OG Lanolips 101 Ointment Multipurpose Superbalm ($19 at Sephora) gives you nothing but lanolin for ultra-hydration. While the Frank Body Lip Balm ($15 at Frank Body) ensures hydration with an added blend of vitamin E, coffee seed, coconut and grapeseed oils to the lanolin base. If hydration and barrier protection are key, then the Go-To Lips! ($15 at Go-To Skincare) balm will be your pout-perfecting bestie.
