Lizzo's go-to product for irritated skin is on sale for $4
Her entire sensitive skin routine is less than $60
Turns out, life as a celebrity isn’t always as glamorous as it seems. In a recent TikTok, Lizzo admitted that touring has left her skin angry, irritated, itchy and breaking out.
While some celebs like Kylie Jenner turn to pimple patches when their skin breaks out, Lizzo has extremely sensitive skin and has to rely on alternative methods.
“Full disclosure, there’s nothing wrong with having texture on your skin,” she said in the TikTok. “My issue is the itchiness that’s been happening and the irritation.”
The remedy? Lizzo turns to three skin care products and a secret weapon she busts out before she goes to sleep to rescue her raging skin.
Lizzo’s 3-step sensitive skin care routine
1/
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser for Face & Body
“So, this is what my makeup artist recommended to wash my face with,” she said before pumping a generous amount into the palm of her hands. “It has a nice lather.”
“I put some on my chest too because my chest broke out too,” she continued as she massaged the fragrance-free cleanser over her décolletage.
“I have extremely sensitive skin,” she explained. “If I have scented soaps and I accidentally use — I accidentally used a scented soap at one of the hotels — it’ll break me out and make me itchy.”
Try: Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser for Face & Body ($15.99 at Chemist Warehouse)

First Aid Beauty FAB Pharma Arnica Relief & Rescue Mask
“Next, we’re going to use this arnica rescue relief mask,” she said as she applied a thick layer all over her face.
“I know this all looks very much ‘hashtag ad’ but I swear it’s not,” she quipped, rubbing the last of the leave-on formula into her skin.
“[And] yes, I left my lashes on,” she exclaimed. “Sometimes I like to Facetime my boo at night.”
Try: First Aid Beauty FAB Pharma Arnica Relief & Rescue Mask (was $50.74 now $36.42 at Amazon)

Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Calming Mask
“Last but not least is this serum mask,” said Lizzo as she smoothed the edges of the sheet mask to hug her face.
She likes to leave the mask on for a while, waiting until “the face mask has completely dried” before removing it.
“I’m going to go to sleep and then check in in the morning,” she assures us. “I feel good though; no itchiness, no irritation, my face has calmed down a lot.”
Try: Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Calming Mask (was $8 now $4 at Nudie Glow)

Pro tip: Sleep with a silk satin pillowcase
The next morning Lizzo claims the skin on her face and chest feels “significantly less itchy, irritated and angry — I feel really good about what I just did.”
Her secret weapon for combatting the symptoms of sensitised skin? “Pro tip: when you’re on the road — bring your own [silk] satin pillowcase — it does wonders for your skin.”
She claims that since travelling with one “the last couple of nights… the itching has significantly gone down.”
Try: Sheridan Lanham Silk Tailored Pillowcase ($129.99 at MYER); Lily Silk 19 Momme Terse Envelope Silk Pillowcase ($59 at Lily Silk); Sleepy Girl Envelope Silk Pillowcase ($75 at Hard To Find).
