While we’re still recovering from the release of Kylie Jenner’s massive Christmas collection, KJ has been as busy as a beaver announcing the opening of a pop-up shop in Los Angeles, creating a personalised merchandise website, The Kylie Shop and buying the trademark to ‘Kylighter’.
While we are eagerly awaiting the launch of Kylie’s new online shop, which is set to stock a huge array of new merchandise including Lip Kit themed phone cases and potentially Glitter Lip Kits if The Kylie Shop’s Instagram is anything to go by, it is the news surrounding possible Kylighters that has our full attention.
According to Teen Vogue, Kylie bought the trademark to Kylighter on June 23 of this year. On the United States Patent and Trademark Office website the new trademark is described as “Cosmetics; face and body highlighter cosmetics and cosmetic brushes; makeup kits comprised of highlighter cosmetics and cosmetic brushes.”
While there’s no official word on when we should expect a highlighter release from the makeup mogul, we will definitely be keeping our eyes peeled and ears pricked.
