What we learnt when Kim Kardashian interviewed her sister
The best beauty tips she's learnt, plus her biggest beauty regret
Kylie Jenner is no stranger to spilling her beauty secrets and giving us sneak peeks into her makeup kit and Sephora purchases (just this week she took to her Snapchat to take us through her 16-step ‘low-key’ makeup look). But when interviewed by her big sis Kim Kardashian-West for the the August 2016 issue of Allure, we discovered even more insight into the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star's life.
Here are the top things we learnt about Kylie in the Kardashian-Jenner interview:
#1: The importance of eye cream
Using an eye cream is one of the biggest lessons Kylie picked up from her sisters. When asked by Kim what the best thing she had taught Kylie, the youngest sister said, “We were in Bora-Bora and you and Kourtney were like, ‘Immediately go and get an eye cream and start using it’... When my skin feels dry, I'll do a little bit of Kiehl's Face Moisturiser under my eyes," spilled Kylie. Interestingly, Kim told her she should do it every day, but she's recently admitted on Snapchat she's not so diligent about eye cream herself.
#2: Kris didn't share her best beauty tip with Kylie
While the interview was mainly focused on Kylie, Kim couldn't help but jump in with the best beauty advice she's been given from their mum Kris Jenner, which it seems she failed to pass onto Kylie: “[Mum] used to tell me to use a hot washcloth to wash off makeup and exfoliate.”
#3: Her biggest beauty regret
"Well, I definitely made my lips a little too big at one point," admitted Kylie, but she creditted her older sisters for bringing her back down to earth. "I got excited and felt like I needed to do a lot. And then you guys were like, 'Kylie, you need to chill.' And then I had to go back and have it fixed, and it was a crazy process. Thank God I didn't end up on Botched," Kylie said.
#4: Her beauty icon is her sister
When Kim asked Kylie who her beauty icon was, Kylie started by saying, "I feel like I should say you" but then asserted "You are, though! I look up to you." Which is no surprise, just one look at the curvy sisters and it's clear to see that there are a lot of style and beauty similarities.
