North West got to pick Kim Kardashian’s makeup for her 6th birthday
And tbh we’re kind of in love with it
North West, the eldest child of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, turned six on the weekend, and to celebrate she had a candy land themed birthday party that she shared with her cousin Penelope Disick.
While North opted for a rainbow-inspired hair and makeup look complete with mismatched eyeshadow and multi-coloured braids, her mum Kim was rocking a monochromatic tangerine makeup look with nails to match, picked out by the birthday girl herself.
Kim took to Instagram to share the tot’s beauty expertise, saying: “North wanted matching hair and eyeshadow today.”
And to be honest we kind of love the direction that North went with her mum’s look; graphic winged liner has been seen on and off the runway this season and it’s become a favourite statement look of celebrities on the red carpet. North was actually seen rocking this particular hue herself back in 2018 like a true trendsetter.
Kim went for a more understated version of North’s hairstyle, nixing coloured braids for black, although we can only hope she gets roped into wearing more outrageous beauty looks by her daughter in the future.
