Um, North West just showed us how to rock electric orange eyeliner
And we’re totally on board with it
How do we feel about taking beauty inspo from a five-year-old? Because North West just showed us how to wear orange eyeliner and if we’re honest - we totally want to copy her look.
The mini beauty influencer showed off her bold, eye-catching eyeliner, which perfectly matched her orange dress, at her dad Kanye West’s Saturday Night Live performance.
Her enviable beauty look was courtesy of Kim Kardashian’s glam squad, nonetheless. While her makeup game looked like it was straight off the runway (ICYMI: North walks runways now too), Kim revealed in her Instagram story that North actually put the whole look together by herself.
She shared a snap of North in the makeup chair, along with the caption “She coming for me and stealing my glam squad”.

And the super cool hairstyle? Yeah, Chris Appleton was behind that one. As you do.
The celebrity hairstylist decided to give North a Kim Kardashian-esque high ponytail, complete with a middle braid pierced with metal rings. She also showed off some glitter hair gel around her hairline (pretty much the chicest way to hold down fly-aways), because she’s way cooler than we’ll ever be.
It looks like North was right on point with her choice of makeup colour, because we’re feeling a bit of a trend coming through on the peachy/orangey eye makeup front.
Lucy Hale was recently spotted wearing a similar pretty peachy hue on her lids, sharing her striking makeup look on Instagram. Teamed with just a slick of mascara, it just shows how a simple splash of colour can easily bring your makeup game to the next level.
Our thoughts? It could be time to switch out your usual black eyeliner or brown smoky eye for a bright, playful hue.
