Khloé Kardashian’s foundation trick for flawless skin

Khloé Kardashian often gives us major skin envy with her flawless-looking selfies. But just when we thought it was a result of an impressive filter or some nifty photo editing skills, Khloe spilled the secret foundation trick her makeup artist and good friend, Joyce Bonelli, uses on the Keeping Up With The Kardashian star. And obviously, we had to share it.

Taking to her wildly popular app, Khloe exclaimed that her long-time makeup artist has an incredible base makeup technique.

"Joyce, my go-to beauty guru, has the best trick for extra-full coverage foundation,” she told her fans. And it turns out the pro tip is super simple, too.

“Swap your regular moisturiser for a tinted version, then apply foundation," Kardashian explains. "The result is perfectly even skin."

 Bonelli preps Khloe’s skin with Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser, and then adds a full-coverage foundation over the top. "Create your base with a foundation that matches your skin colour," she continued. "Pat it all down with a BeautyBlender.”

For Khloe’s look, Bonelli used Marc Jacobs' Re(marc)able Full Coverage Foundation, which is a highly pigmented product that’s praised for its long-lasting finish. But other foundations like Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Le Teint foundation, Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24H Foundation, or Makeup Forever Ultra HD Foundation will work just as well, and all offer a full coverage finish.
