Kendall Jenner has brought us many beauty trends and served plenty of A+ looks over the years. But when we think about celebrity tattoos, she’s not the first face we conjure. And that’s because all of Kendall Jenner’s tattoos (yes, there are multiple) are pretty discreet.

There are plenty of celebrities that have a ‘more is more’ attitude towards ink, but Jenner’s smattering of subtle designs are carefully placed to be easily concealed on camera. Smart move when your job is to frequently transform personas for runways and ad campaigns.

Here’s every piece of ink in her tiny tattoo collection and the meaning behind each one.

Kendall Jenner’s dot tattoo

Her debut ink design is the most subtle of them all: a tiny white dot on the inside of her index finger. According to her tattoo artist Jon Boy, it symbolises that ‘the little things matter’.

Kendall Jenner’s lip tattoo

Not many people have the word ‘meow’ tattooed on the inside of their bottom lip, but Kendall Jenner does, and it's the only tattoo she regrets. The model told the world during an episode of The Ellen Degeneres Show that “it was literally the first thing that came to my mind.” Fair enough.

Kendall Jenner’s matching heart tattoo

Not only did Kendall Jenner design one of Hailey Bieber’s tattoos (the letters ‘PR’ and ‘AY’ on opposite hands), but the friends also have matching broken heart tattoos. Bieber’s is red while Jenner’s is white.

Kendall Jenner’s cowboy tattoo

Jenner’s latest tiny tattoo is a cowboy boot on the inside of her ankle. The intricate design was shared by tattoo artist Kate McDuffie, and then reshared by Jenner with the caption ‘when at the rodeo’. McDuffie is also responsible for Pete Davidson’s ‘My girl is a lawyer tattoo’ — which he still has, for now.
