Kendall Jenner just blessed us with the easiest makeup trend, ever
It’s a total cinch to recreate
Do you know what we love more than celebrity beauty inspo? Celebrity beauty looks that we can *actually *copy IRL. It’s rare, but when we see it we’re ALL over it. And we can confirm: Kendall Jenner has come through with the goods.
The model recently rocked up to Coachella wearing quite possibly the easiest celebrity makeup look we’ve EVER come across. And it looks good. Real good.
Celebrity makeup artist Mary Phillips (the hands behind Kendall’s eye makeup) posted the beauty look on Instagram, captioning the short clip: “#Coachella day one”.
Yep – she’s back at it with the negative eye makeup, and we’re not complaining - it’s even easier to replicate than her 2018 People’s Choice Awards look.
Keeping the rest of her makeup look natural and fresh, the whole look involved three simple swipes of black eyeliner on each side: one swipe beside her eye, just below her brow bone, and two soft ‘v’ flicks on the outer corner of the eye.
AND THAT’S IT.
Watch your back, Mary Phillips. We think we’ve got this.
How can something so simple look so darn good?
This easy eye look gives off an edgy, cool and quirky vibe (it has Coachella written all over it) and we’re definitely going to give it a whirl on our next night out. The best part? It’ll take, like, one second to recreate.
We think it’s all the inspiration you need to ditch your usual cat eye – you could even amp up this simple look by using a coloured eyeliner (check out Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner – it’s super smooth to apply and comes in a whole heap of bright colours).
