Hunter Schafer is the new global face of Shiseido
We cannot wait to see what the creative pair do together
Euphoria star and global trans rights activist Hunter Schafer has just been announced as the new global brand ambassador for Japanese brand Shiseido. The partnership is an exciting one, bringing together two exceptionally creative voices within the beauty space.
Shiseido released a vivid visual campaign to celebrate the announcement, featuring Hunter in an array of colourful, experimental looks. The featured makeup displayed the same level of creativity and fun we’ve come to associate with the actress after her stint on the glitter-heavy teen drama Euphoria.
Hunter shared her thoughts on being asked to collaborate with the innovative Japanese brand via Instagram saying, “as someone who likes to ‘draw on my face’ with makeup, I found @shiseido ‘s approach to make up really beautiful. Shiseido understands the artistry within makeup. Proud to be shiseido’s newest global ambassador and looking forward to sharing more of what we’ve created together.”
And honestly, after seeing the lashings of blue mascara, mauve lips and iconographic tattoo style liner, so are we.
This isn’t the only exciting brand ambassadorship to be announced lately. Megan Thee Stallion is the new global brand ambassador for Revlon.
