PSA: Fenty Beauty has partnered with the Paris Olympic games
It's only July and Rihanna has been named the face of Dior, launched her own hair care range, and now Fenty Beauty has partnered with the 2024 Paris Olympics and Paralympics to bring beauty to the mainstage.
Was this on our bingo cards for 2024? No, absolutely not, but we're excited about it nonetheless.
What's in store for this unprecedented collaboration? This is what we know so far...
Fenty Beauty is championing inclusivity at the Olympics and Paralympics
In true Rihanna style this partnership came about because of Fenty Beauty's brand ethos: inclusivity.
"I want everyone to feel beautiful, recognised, and EMPOWERED, no matter their ethnicity, culture, skin tone or style," Rihanna explained in a press statement. With impressive shade ranges designed to fit all skin types Fenty Beauty has been a serious pioneer in inclusivity in the makeup space.
However, Fenty Beauty's partnership with the Olympics and Paralympics is all about "celebrating diversity at one of the world’s largest sports event", giving a platform for the young, ethnically-diverse volunteers that will present the athletes their awards at the winners ceremonies.
Fenty Beauty (along with the Olympic organisers) provided training and makeup kits to 600 young volunteers, who all range in ages from 18 to 21. Aside from receiving Fenty Beauty packed makeup kits, the volunteers also received makeup training to achieve the natural, dewy look, as well as being shade matched by a professional makeup artist.
So, let's take a peak inside the Fenty makeup bags the volunteers received...

As far as we're concerned, this is the skin tint to end all skin tints. There, we said it! Aside from its incredible shade range, this tint is able to blur your skin without leaving any heavy, cakey feeling. The volunteers are going to look totally flawless and effortlessly natural with this as their foundation.

If you've not seen one of these glosses take the stage in person, you absolutely need to. There's not a tiny bit of doubt in our minds why this ultra-high-shine gloss has been included in the packs. Plus with the nourishing inclusion of shea butter the volunteers will be able to feel the nourishing hydrating effects for longer.
Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Invisimatte Instant Setting + Blotting Powder ($49 at Sephora)
When we say we're after dewy, we mean a perfectly glossy, lit from within kind of makeup not. What we're not talking about is having our skin look oily. So, to walk that incredibly fine balance, enlist the help a blotting powder. The volunteers will be able to quickly blot at any list minute touch ups before showcasing their flawless faces.
