Emma Stone’s clipped updo is our favourite girl-next-door hairstyle
The actress strikes the perfect balance between casual and glam
The 73rd Annual Venice Film Festival is in full swing, and with it comes a collection of celebrity beauty looks we want to copy. Attendees so far have included A-listers such as Dakota Fanning, Amy Adams, Naomi Watts and Alicia Vikander. However it’s Emma Stone who has stolen the red carpet with her beautiful but low maintenance hairstyle, as seen at the photocall for her latest movie release La La Land.
After numerous colour changes over the past 12 months, the actress has returned to her signature red and opted for a gorgeous low updo with a tiny braid for a chic twist.
Emma paired her signature off-centre part with a loose side fringe, waved gently down the side of her face. The back of the her hair was clipped up with a single pale pink clip, which perfectly matched her green and pink floral dress. What really made Emma’s hair notable though was the tiny braid that started at her temple and was twisted backwards and up into the clipped hairstyle, to create a headband effect.
As usual, Emma Stone pulls off the girl-next-door look with ease, but adds a little celebrity glam to make it red carpet worthy.
