These celebrity holiday hairstyles have got us craving a summer vacay

Holiday hair styling can be extremely tricky to master. You need something that's cute (vacations are photoshoot central), but also comfy (nobody has time for a headache on holidays) while also being practical (read: easy to do in five seconds flat before heading to the buffet). Tricky, tricky, tricky!

Luckily, our fave celebs have us covered in the inspo area. Over here at BEAUTYcrew HQ, we’re looking to celebrity holiday snaps not to feed our inner little green monsters, but to lap up all of the fresh holiday hair inspo (cause silver lining and all that).

Here are some of our favourite celebrity holiday hair looks for the ultimate off-duty hair inspiration...

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

In our books, no holiday hair story would be complete without at least one messy bun. Huntington-Whiteley came through with the goods, sporting this polished interpretation of the classic lazy girl hairstyle while lounging on a boat off the coast of Capri. She swept her hair into a mid-height bun at the back of her head and hasn’t fussed about the stray wisps threatening to escape – she is on holiday after all, people.

Gigi Hadid

Hadid opted for loose, beachy waves in this sunlit holiday snap. Whether her curls are the result of saltwater swims or a heat tool is anyone’s guess, but we’re loving their relaxed, brushed-out vibe. To cap off her look, she’s grabbed a printed silk scarf to wear in a bandana fashion to keep her hair off her face. Stylish yet practical!

Bella Hadid

Bella wore these super cute double plaits while holidaying in Mykonos, reminding us of one of our favourite childhood hairstyles. Let’s take our cues from Hadid and bring this ‘do back, we say. She capped off her schoolgirl braids with metallic snap clips and the whole look is just so adorable, we can’t even!

Kylie Jenner

Herein is probably the most extra holiday hair going, but would you expect anything less from a Jenner? When these pics were taken, the beauty mogul had flown a group of her gal pals out to holiday at the Turks and Caicos Islands for one seriously extravagant vacation (and some pretty crazy hairstyles). Our favourite was when Jenner donned the longest hair extensions we’ve ever seen and plaited them into this incredibly long braid.

Elsa Hosk

If you haven’t already heard, we're here to confirm that Hosk has some of the PRETTIEST natural curls out. We get pretty darn excited when she lets her gorgeous curls do their thing so we’re all about this gorgeous holiday hair she whipped up while holidaying in St. Tropez. She let her natural hair texture run free, tying her curly hair loosely back in a messy half-up, half-down hairstyle. Stunning!

Chrissy Teigen

How cute does Chrissy look in this sky-high ponytail with brushed-out waves? And is anyone else super envious of all that length and thickness? Although, considering the star was holidaying with her friend, hairstylist and OUAI Haircare founder Jen Atkin, she darn well better have her hair game on point.

“Told @jenatkinhair to give me Instagram girl hair,” Teigen wrote in the caption. Um, we’re actually thinking it might be those Instagram girls who want her hair!

Jasmine Tookes

A surefire way to add polish to a hair look you haven't tried particularly hard with? A headband. Try a soft option instead of a hard one though, to ensure that midday naps can still be taken whilst looking incredibly chic. Bonus points for matching to your outfit like Tookes, too!
