Camila Mendes' brows are the fine work of this $28 Chemist Warehouse find
ICYMI: Camila Mendes (and her celebrity makeup artist Carolina Gonzalez) have been spotted using a budget beauty buy that we can all get our hands on. We know, it’s MAJOR news. Gonzalez is actually no stranger to the budget beauty forefront. In fact she was responsible for creating all those Cetaphil skin-prepped Sabrina Carpenter makeup looks. Yep, Gonzalez is a makeup artist for the people.
But back to Mendes. When we think of the Loops founder, we picture a cabinet full of high-end beauty products (amongst her own). But it turns out that we’d be dead wrong. Because for a premiere of her upcoming film Música, Mendes chose to keep her makeup on the gorgeously glowy side. And what pairs perfectly with glowing skin and sparkling eyes?
Structured brows, of course. We’ve never once seen Mendes’ arches looking anything but perfect. And that can only mean one thing: she’s got to have a really good beauty secret up her sleeve…
And we now know exactly what it is!
The Secret To Camila Mendes’ Brows
So what is this incredible brow product that’s somehow nabbed both a dual Mendes-Gonzalez stamp of approval?! None other than Maybelline’s Build A Brow ($28.99 at Chemist Warehouse). Yep, the Riverdale star’s structured, defined and red-carpet-ready brows were the work of a two-in-one pen meets gel tool you can grab at your local pharmacy. And we couldn’t be happier to hear it! With a vegan formula and real hair-emulating brush strokes, this pen’s handiwork is then sculpted and set into place with the helpful brow gel end (that of course comes with a spoolie for easy application).
Honestly, looking at Mendes' brows, we think the results speak for themselves. Consider this another budget beauty product going straight to the top of our ‘to buy’ list. And we’ll happily dole over the dollars for arches anything like Mendes’.
