Coachella is the perfect place to test drive new styles. Case in point: Hailey Bieber’s glow-in-the-dark nails and Charli D’Amelio toying with the idea of life as a blonde. D’Amelio donned a wig for the second day of the festival and really put the theory ‘blondes have more fun’ to the test.

When modelling is your full-time gig, being able to transform in front of the camera is a requirement. Emily Ratajkowski is becoming a modern-day Linda Evangelista with the amount of wigs she’s been wearing for photoshoots. Her latest look? New York fairy waif with a Peter Pan pixie cut.

Kris Jenner celebrated her 67th birthday on the weekend, and her family went to great lengths to honour the world’s greatest momager. The theme was 'dress up as your best Kris’, and Kim, Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian, along with Kylie Jenner and North West, donned Kris Jenner wigs to honour the iconic matriarch at different points in her life. Kim dressed as ‘Christmas card Kris Jenner’ and Kylie as ‘1989 Kris Jenner’. Kourtney arrived with a camcorder in hand as ‘Thank U, Next Kris Jenner’, while Khloe went for ‘blonde Kris Jenner’, and North West served up ‘daily Kris Jenner’.

Hailey Bieber’s already getting into the swing of things when it comes to the spooky season. The model paraded through LA while painted green on a late night pizza run with (an also green) Kylie Jenner. And now, she’s “having a lil too much fun” and donning a scarlet red wig for another Halloween ensemble. Could this be the beginning of a new rose-hued era for the Rhode Skin founder? We kind of hope so… she looks incredible.

Did we have ‘Kylie Jenner gets red and black striped hair’ on our 2022 ‘to happen’ lists? No, not exactly, but that she’s done! With a twist, that is. Embracing a wig featuring a cherry red and charcoal stripe pattern (as well as an on-trend micro fringe), Jenner went full out in both the cut and colour departments.

Her buttery blonde bangs may be straight-up iconic, yes, but Carpenter is seemingly trying a deep, dark brunette on for size (at least temporarily) for her newest album era. Artwork for her single "Fast Times" showed the singer in (what we're guessing is) a dark wig, but we certainly wouldn't be against her making the colour more permanent; it suits her.

Camila Cabello appears to be settling into her newfound singledom quite well since her split from Shawn Mendes. The “Havana” singer debuted a striking new hair look, which transformed the 24-year-old into a modern day fairy godmother, complete with opalescent liquid glitter eyeshadow (of course).

This is less a celebration of Hadid’s recent wig-wearing escapades for a Pop Mag shoot (and her impressive chameleon qualities), but rather a polite request for the model: please do us a solid and cut your hair for real. If anyone was made for a blunt-edged micro-fringe it’s this woman – like, hello, look at those cheekbones. It’s tens across the board for this Bettie Page version of Hadid as far as we’re concerned.

Honestly, Gomez going blonde again was enough to sustain us in the dramatic hair look department, but alas, she's gone and overdelivered anyway. The music video for "999", her collab with Colombian singer Camilo practically serves as a game of 'which bright hair hue would Gomez look most magical with?'.

The singer showed off wigs (in an array of lengths and styles) of the bubblegum blue, sunshine yellow and lavender-to-violet ombre varieties. The answer to aforementioned query? All of them. When the options are this good, winners cannot be chosen.
