Despite having naturally blonde hair like her mother, Yolanda, and sister, Gigi, Bella Hadid has long had her signature brunette locks, a change she made when she started modelling to differentiate herself in the fashion industry from her older sister.
However, yesterday the 22-year-old took to Instagram to reveal a significant hair transformation: platinum blonde hair.
Sharing two behind-the-scenes photos from her V Magazine shoot, Bella posed with one of her horses while showing off her light, wavy hair.
While it's unclear whether this is a permanent change or just for the photoshoot, Bella has been slowly lightening hair over the past few months, going 'dirty blonde' in March on Instagram, before debuting light ends at Cannes Film Festival.
She's not the only model to try blonde for the summer, either. Longtime brunette Lily Aldridge took to Instagram overnight to reveal a new platinum blonde, wavy lob:

Does this mean blondes really do have more fun?
Blonde isn't the only popular hair trend this year. Lilac has been one of the most searched hair trends of 2019.
