Ashley Benson's house tour revealed her trusted blonde-toning shampoo
There’s nothing we love more than a celebrity house tour: the architecture, the furniture, the… haircare?!
Yep, despite the fact that Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson’s Architectural Digest 'Open Door' home tour was filled with beautiful (and whimsical) things ranging from a caged copper tub (need) to alien-themed wallpaper (also need), it was the bright coral bottles we spied by said bath that piqued our attention the most. What can we say, we’re beauty sleuths through and through!
And considering we’d long been kept up at night by the question of ‘how does Benson keep her blonde so fresh, creamy, and bright?’, it’s a discovery we’re thrilled to have made.
So what haircare set does she trust to keep her tone in tact? Allow us to explain…
Ashley Benson's blonde-toning haircare routine
The chic little recessed shelf by Benson's tub plays host to none other than the Oribe Bright Blonde Shampoo ($76 at Adore Beauty) and Conditioner ($80 at Adore Beauty), and honestly, the girl's got great taste.
It's luxury haircare (at a luxury price point), sure, but the results will be luxuriously good too. Think of it as a solid strategy for extending your colour's freshness between salon sessions. And honestly, it's good enough that you can legitimately stretch out your appointments a smidge; suddenly the price doesn't seem unreasonable! FYI, though, if you are after a more affordable option, we've got plenty more blonde shampoo suggestions up our sleeve.
So what makes this shampoo and conditioner combo so fabulous? Well, we're sure Benson would be the first to tell you about its brassiness-fighting abilities, as it contains just the right amount of violet pigment to leave hair looking toned, healthy, and lit-from-within. The evidence? Her hair, of course.
Added strength, softness, and sheen are also on the cards after use, which as any blonde (especially the bottle kind) well knows is a blessing.
So if you're looking to restock your colour-finessing haircare stash (and want your blonde to look a bit more like Benson's fresh, icy shade), we suggest adding this stunning coral combo to your shower shelf stat. We're confident they'll work just as well sans copper tub.
