Ariana Grande just said goodbye to her signature long hair

Ariana Grande’s super long high ponytail is almost as famous as her vocals. That ‘do is iconic (it even inspired a certain Kardashian’s Halloween costume this year!) and a swarm of celebs have been quick to copycat her sleek and lengthy sky-high hair on and off the red carpet.

While we were sure her long hair was a forever thing, Ariana just rocked our world with a shoulder-grazing lob – and we think we need a minute.

The singer recently revealed her hair transformation on Instagram, where she showed off a new chestnut hue and significantly shorter hair.

Her fans absolutely LOST it (good to know it wasn’t just us!).

One follower wrote: “This haircut gives me life”, and another commented “BYE CHOPPING OFF ALL MY HAIR.” 

We are absolutely *loving* everything about this new look. That soft, sun-kissed colour, the way her asymmetric ends complement the angle of her jawline, and how the shorter length works to frame her face and accentuate her stunning features. It looks fresh, chic and effortlessly cool and we want to copy it. 

Another fan wrote, “You cut your hair!!!!! No more high pony *insert crying emoji* I love it but whyyyyy”.
