The best celebrity Halloween beauty looks of 2018 so far

Halloween is finally here and we’ve already seen a *heap* of our favourite A-listers step up their game at various celeb-hosted Halloween parties over the weekend.

If you’re still stuck on what look to go with, take your inspo from the celebs. From sky-high wigs to grungy makeup and fake tatts, we’ve rounded up the best celebrity Halloween looks of 2018 so far.

Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner brought her Halloween game to new heights (literally), dressing up as a fembot from Austin Powers. She wore a blonde bouffant wig with fluffy pink feathers pinned at the crown, and her makeup heroed a black cat eye flick and pinky-nude lips. We give it an A++.

Rita Ora

Rita Ora dressed as Post Malone for Halloween and we cannot stop laughing. Rita donned a curly brown wig, beard and moustache, as well as black nail polish and those famous tatts to replicate the singer’s signature look – and she totally OWNED it!

Kaia Gerber 

We were waiting for this! Kaia Gerber nailed it (just like every other year) rocking up to a Halloween bash as a *very* convincing Joan Jett. Wearing a black edgy wig, dark eyeshadow and black liner on her lower lids, this is a super simple look if you find yourself fresh out of time.

Zoe Kravitz 

Can confirm: The ol’ vampire teeth and fake blood is still a thing! Zoe Kravitz offered a hilarious take this classic Halloween look. Donning a stylish pair of sunnies and a pink towel wrapped over her freshly washed hair, the star wore a slick of red lipstick, fake fangs and some fake blood to finish the look.

Alexa Chung

Alexa Chung went as a whimsical sparkly mermaid and we approve. Showing off long pastel pink hair extensions, she added a swipe of teal-coloured lipstick and a metallic green smoky eye. Easy as pie.

Taylor Hill 

We need to talk about Taylor Hill’s costume because it was UNREAL. While it may not be the easiest last-minute option, it’s certainly a head-turner. The Victoria’s Secret model went as Sailor Moon, showing off some impressive eye makeup. She nailed the brief with her huge anime-like eyes, blue coloured contacts and false eyelashes.

Victoria Justice

Well, this is frightening. Singer Victoria Justice went as a human Ouija board, showing off some very impressive makeup skills. Her eyes were outlined with smoky black liner, with one crying black tear. Her other eye had a white shape painted around it (AKA the bit you move around a Ouija board), while the board’s alphabet was painted across her chest.

Kylie Jenner

We need a moment because this is the cutest thing, ever. Kylie showed off a twinning costume with daughter Stormi, dressing up as a pink butterfly. She kept her bob sleek, teaming the pink costume with a pinky-nude lip and pretty pink eyeshadow.

Nicky Hilton Rothschild

Nicky Hilton Rothschild dressed up as Paris circa 2002 and it’s actually genius. The look she picked? Paris Hilton’s 21^st birthday look of course! Leaving her blonde locks loose, she wore a dark smoky eye, voluminous lashes and accessorised with a sparkly tiara. So. Paris.

Jasmine Tookes 

Austin Powers is definitely having a moment this year! Victoria’s Secret model Jasmine Tookes rolled up to the party as Foxy Cleopatra – and she absolutely killed it. She wore an impressive light brown fro, golden metallic eyeshadow (which was blended right up to her brow bone) and black winged eyeliner.

Josephine Skriver

Josephine Skriver looked terrifying, going as a character inspired by The Purge films. Wearing a spattering on fake blood on her chest, the model wore a creepy mask with the words ‘Kiss Me’ on the forehead, and pulled her hair up into space buns on either side of her head. It’s the stuff nightmares are made of.

Gigi Hadid

Now that’s one good lookin’ pumpkin! Gigi Hadid pulled out all the stops on the makeup front, showing off her super impressive skills. She posted a selfie on Instagram, writing, “Felt like bein crafty more than dressing up today so I painted me a jack-o-lantern ! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!! @erinparsonsmakeup you proud of me?”

Khloé Kardashian

Out of Khloé Kardashian’s thousands of different Halloween outfits for baby True, this one would have to be our fave! Khloe took a leaf out of Kylie’s book, showing off cute twinning tiger costumes with her daughter. Wearing her blonde locks loose, she painted her nose and forehead with black and orange stripes, accessorising with a pair of leopard-print ears. Pretty darn cute.

Jenna Dewan

While we’re still coming down from that phenomenal unicorn makeup look from a few years ago (check it out here), Jenna’s 2018 Halloween look would have to be up there with the best. This year she made Halloween fairies a thing, looking like she walked straight out of the enchanted woods. She put on a shoulder-length pastel pink wig and showed off an uber whimsical makeup look by applying soft blush and glossy magenta lips.

Adriana Lima

Adriana Lima looked both parts creepy and smouldering. She wore smoky purple eyeshadow around her eyes and used what looks like a black felt tip pen to draw a skeleton design down her nose and cheeks. She added a swipe of dark berry lipstick and drew stitches over her lips to complete the look. And can we please take a moment to appreciate her daughter’s Jenna Dewan-inspired unicorn look? So. Cute.

Rihanna

Rihanna was a shining example of how makeup can totally *make* a Halloween look. She rocked up to a party with a hot pink skeleton design painted on her face, and her glossy black curls hanging loose around her face. She finished off her look with a pair of black sunnies. We have to say, this is definitely one of our faves!

Kate Moss

The model absolutely nailed it in a creepy vampish makeup look (yet somehow still looked flawless?). She showed off a face full of white paint, donning spooky red contact lenses and a red lip. She finished the look with a large black wig, which was backcombed to high hell for some extra Morticia-esque volume.

The Kardashian-Jenner clan

The Kardashian-Jenner sisters went as Victoria’s Secret Angels, wearing actual runway looks and real wings. Yep. We wouldn’t have expected anything less. They showed off their Victoria’s Secret-worthy glossy hairstyles and pristine makeup, as well as ALL of the skin.

Beyoncé

Queen B *perfectly* recreated Toni Braxton’s album cover for Halloween, copying the ‘90s R&B singer’s iconic look down to a tee. She wore a dark cropped wig, flawlessly polished brows, red lips and white manicured nails.

Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon opted for a classic corpse bride look, donning a fiery red wig, black smoky eyes and stitched lips. So simple, yet so effective!

Anne Hathaway 

While she looks like she’s recently gone under the knife, Anne Hathaway took her cues from Joan Crawford’s character in the horror flick Mommie Dearest, wearing a simple white bandage around her head and neck, red lips and oversized sunnies.

Bella Hadid and The Weeknd

Bella Hadid and The Weeknd dressed as characters Beetlejuice and Lydia from the ‘80s classic Beetlejuice – and totally crushed it. Bella wore a spiked black wig, contoured cheeks and red smoky eyeshadow, while The Weeknd wore white face paint, black eye makeup around his eyes and a green wig.

Lupita Nyong’o

Lupita Nyong’o went as Dionne Davenport from Clueless and we are crushing hard! Along with having Dionne’s iconic fashion choice on point (duh), Lupita wore red lips, a fake nose piercing and those signature long braids.

Kourtney Kardashian   

So. Much. Yes. Kourtney Kardashian dressed as Ariana Grande and this look is EVERYTHING. She wore her hair in the singer’s signature high ponytail, featuring those cool piercing-like rings that Ariana made a ‘thing’ back in 2017. Teamed with her trademark black cat eye and perfectly flawless makeup, we can barely tell the two of them apart.

Heidi Klum 

Heidi Klum has yet again won Halloween with her out-of-this-world Shrek costume – and she’s seriously earnt it. She showed up to her own Halloween bash dressed as a pitch-perfect Princess Fiona – and she didn’t just do the ol’ mask situation. Instead she went the prosthetics and makeup route, and we can only assume it took *forever* to turn the model into an ogre. 10/10!

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas

Did someone say #couplegoals?! Sophie Turner and fiancé Joe Jonas showed us how it’s done, dressing up as Gomez and Morticia Addams from The Addams Family. Sophie channelled her inner goth, wearing a long black wig and a next-level dark smoky eye, while Joe wore his hair slicked back and donned a thin moustache. Yep, they absolutely nailed the brief.

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian and BFF Jonathan Cheban attended Kendall Jenner’s Halloween birthday party (yes, it’s a thing!) dressed as Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee. The pair looked absolutely ON POINT, with Kim wearing a long blonde wig, blue shimmery eye makeup and a pink fluffy hat. The only problem? No one had any idea who they were! In her Instagram story, Kim filmed the party-goers reaction to her costume and the feels were too *real*. “You guys are all too f-king young," she said. "This is so sad."
