Anya Taylor-Joy looked every part an ethereal dream when she walked the red carpet for The Northman LA premiere. The actress employed the help of makeup artist Georgie Eisdell (and a hoard of Dior makeup) to create her velvet-finish makeup look, which was paired with a goddess braid crafted by genius hair stylist Gregory Russell. If this is what angels look like, we’re going to  try a little harder to get into heaven.

If you’re going to do old Hollywood glamour and you don’t come with the same level of fire Taylor-Joy does here, then you need to go home and think about your life choices. From the silky smooth updo to the crisp red lip – this is red carpet beauty at it’s finest. All hail the queen.

We didn’t know we needed to see the young actress bringing Elle Woods to life on the red carpet, but now that we have, we don’t know why we weren’t demanding this from her sooner. That blonde blowout? Iconic.

This is honestly just an appreciation post for Taylor-Joy’s epically long hair. Does she have the most perfect nude lipstick on and a velvet porcelain complexion? Yes she does, but she’s also a real-life Rapunzel and not enough people are giving her the respect she deserves. Revel in the glory of this woman’s extremely long hair – please, we beg.

Dripping in Chanel and looking every bit the ‘60s socialite, Taylor-Joy switched up her red carpet hair game with a darling half-up half-down hairstyle that she finished with a silk blue ribbon.

Everything about this look screams 2017 and we love it. No doubt we were also rocking a deep side part and figuring out our winged eyeliner around this time too. Taylor-Joy is giving a much more polished version of it, but it’s 2017 and we’re here for every nostalgic second of it.

Fresh-faced and new to all things acting, Taylor-Joy kept things hair-focused when it came to beauty for the Sundance Film Festival. Despite the fact the young actress isn’t wearing a stitch of makeup, she’s still absolutely nailed a loose curl. Hats off to you, Miss Joy.
