Allison Williams makes a huge hair change
There’s a new celebrity hair trend taking over
There seems to be something in the water with celebrity hair changes of late. Kylie Jenner started us off last year, and just recently Katy Perry revealed a bold new look and Olivia Wilde shook things up with an edgy new cut and colour. Also joining the platinum blonde club is Girls actress Allison Williams, who swapped her mousy brown hair colour for a bright blonde huefor her recent Allure magazine cover shoot.
The 28-year-old hilariously documented the process on her Instagram story, providing us with a little insight into the world of celebrity hair dying:
The actress credits colourist Aura Freidman from Sally Hershberger Salon for the dye job, and we think it’s an incredible shade on Allison.
“I like it! Especially this blonde – it feels like it is just a new twist on the same old me. It’s just hair! But it’s fun,” she told Allure.
The actress posted on her Instagram: “Here it is IRL. Still getting used to it, but I dig it. Thankyou @auracolorist and @rebekahforecast for helping me say goodbye to Marnie – and to @allure for the nudge!”
