Here's every product behind Addison Rae's VMAs glam

The soft glam was giving...

The celebs were swanning in, dressed to impress (and shock), with flawless faces and heavenly (and often huge) hair. Yep, it's the day of the MTV VMAs, and subsequently, a huge day for annoying beauty lovers (us) determined to identify every product on every face.

Because while we might have a few opinions on the best music videos of the year (*ahem* "Taste"), we've got even more thoughts on the beauty looks we saw coming down the red carpet.

Specifically, Addison Rae's stunning soft glam. The stunning star (who also happens to be presenting at the show) set the group chats ablaze with her iconic skimpy outfit, but here at BEAUTYcrew we were more enamoured by her effortlessly chic makeup.

And it turns out, the look was brought to us by none other than makeup artist superstar Pat McGrath, which means one thing. We can totally try and emulate the look ourselves. So, let's see what products were used...

Addison Rae 2024 VMAs Makeup

Flawless Base

For us, Rae's flawless skin was a serious green flag.

And obviously it was because McGrath used solely her own products for this gorgeously glowy, sunkissed look.

McGrath used the trifecta of Skin Fetish Sublime Perfection products, starting off with the filter-like, lightweight Pat McGrath Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection Foundation ($120 at Sephora), brightening with the Pat McGrath Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection Concealer ($58 at Sephora), and setting it all in place with the Pat McGrath Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection Setting Powder ($72 at Sephora).

And once the most perfect base was complete (thanks to Rae's flawless complexion) McGrath focused on creating a glossy, golden, blushed look. Which, of course involves a fair few layers (it's a marathon, not a sprint).

And in full disclosure, we don't know exactly the order these products were applied, but this is our best bet (and what we'll be attempting once we finalise our Sephora order).

To create the luminous, lit-from-within tone, McGrath used the Pat McGrath Skin Fetish: Highlighter + Balm Duo ($86 at Sephora), then she took the Pat McGrath Divine Cream Blush: Legendary Glow Color Balm in ‘Luscious Lotus’ ($50 at Sephorain the classic 'W blush' shape across Rae's cheeks and nose, giving her that fresh-from-vacation glow.

Then to really solidify the colour McGrath went in with a powder blush and bronzing duo, ensuring the colour stayed put all night long. The two final base-perfecting products in question? Pat McGrath Skin Fetish: Divine Bronzer ($70 at Sephoraand the fresh pinky toned Pat McGrath Skin Fetish: Divine Blush in ‘Cherish’ ($67 at Sephora).

Enchanting Eyes

Let's be real, Rae's eyes weren't anything crazy (no green cut creases here) but we love the classic, glimmering look that McGrath created, leaning on the bronzy, brown shades in the Pat McGrath Mothership V Bronze Seduction Eyeshadow Palette in 'Bronze Seduction' ($220 at Sephora). As for the final touch, she finished the effortless eye look with a lick of lengthening mascara with Pat McGrath FetishEYES Mascara ($58 at Sephora).

Luscious Lips

If a 'your lips but better' — or YLBB as we like to call it  lip look is what your after (and let's be real, it really is), then this lip crayon-esque pencil is what you need to add to your collection. McGrath used the Pat McGrath Dramatique Mega Lip Pencil in 'Belle Amour' ($50 at Pat McGrathto give Rae her standout lips.

And there we have it, turns out we'll be making the absolute most of the Sephora sale, with quite literally one of everything currently being added to our cart...

One thing that remained consistent whether unpacking accessories or creating social content? Her commitment to an always-perfect manicure.
