Ever wondered if there was a way to maintain that post sweat sesh flush? Well, apparently you're not the only one.

The workout blush trend has garnered the attention of influencers and professionals alike. In fact, Megan Fox's makeup artist and PS…by Primark US Ambassador, Jenna Kristina, loves the look so much she's shared a few tips for nailing the trend ourselves.

"Workout blush is a variation of the viral 'boyfriend blush' we saw on TikTok a few months ago," she tells BEAUTYcrew.

"The technique for this look involves applying blush under the cheekbones to mimic the look of a flushed face after exercising," Kristina explains.

"It’s a great style for those natural beauty looks for a casual yet statement-making moment," she went on to say. "It’s all about a soft, warm and diffused finish."

Want to know the exact technique Kristina swears by for nailing the workout blush trend on her A-list clients? Here, she breaks it down for BEAUTYcrew.

How to nail the workout blush trend

"I recommend starting with a light cream contour, then going in with a cream blush like the PS…by Primark Pro Cream Blush to really melt the two products together on the face," Kristina advises.

It might sound counterintuitive, but a pop of brightly coloured blush is the best choice for imitating a post-workout flush. We suggest finding a shade of cream blush that matches the hue of your natural undertone and flush to truly master that sweaty glow.

Try: Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Island Glow Lip & Cheek in 'Paradise Pink Glow' ($60 from Charlotte Tilbury), Pixi On-The-Glow Blush Tinted Moisturiser Stick in 'Cheektone' ($33 from Sephora), or Rationale Beautiful Cheeks SPF30 ($82 from Rationale).

"Apply the cream blush under the cheekbones and then blend into your contour for a fresh yet soft flush effect," Kristina elaborates.

"If you want to go big with the blush, I recommend adding a powder on top, like the PS…by Primark High Pigment Blusher, to really make a punch," she went on to say.

When it comes to selecting a powder blush, try sticking to a matte or dewy finish, as radiant, illuminating and shimmer blushes won't look as natural. The idea is to look a bit flushed and sweaty, not metallic.

Try: Makeup By Mario Soft Pop Powder Blush in 'Poppy Pink' ($53 from Sephora), Dior Rosy Glow Blush in '001 Pink' ($72 from Sephora), or Tarte Cosmetics Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in 'Drama' ($55 from Tarte Cosmetics).

No one nails a natural flush quite like Gigi Hadid, and we just found out Gigi Hadid's fave blush is *finally* available in Australia.
