Urban Decay is discontinuing a cult product
We hate to be the bearer of bad news
Urban Decay has had a huge year of new releases, from their Holiday collection to the Naked Ultimate Basics Palette. But news we don’t normally hear from the brand is a discontinuation of a product, especially one that is so universally loved. And while we hate to be the bearer of bad news, we feel a responsibility to inform beauty lovers everywhere that the Naked Smoky Palette is confirmed as being discontinued.
When Teen Vogue asked the brand the question we all want answered – why? – they responded with: "At Urban Decay, we are never 'done'; this means we always look for ways to make our products better. Every time we create a new product, we come at it with a fresh perspective and make it technologically innovative and relevant for now. Unfortunately, this sometimes means discontinuing products people love, in order to launch new products we think you’ll love even more!"
The good news however, is that Urban Decay is giving you a chance to stock up. While we are waiting for an official date that the palette will be discontinued, we do know it won’t be until the end of 2018 in Australia. Phew!
In the meantime, the brand has released a Naked Palette that’s not for your eyes. You’re going to want to get your hands on this one.
