Is Lily Collins bringing back this '80s trend?

The Cannes Film Festival is an annual event where the best of the best from the cinema world unite to sign huge movie deals and attend a plethora of screenings and premieres.
Luckily for us, it’s also an event where the world’s biggest A-listers display stunning hair and makeup looks that range from classically elegant to weird and wacky.
Lily Collins is one of those aforementioned celebs who brought her beauty A-game: Over the past few days we’ve seen the actress rock sleek straight locks, a front fringe as well as a gold accessorised ponytail!
Then Lily upped her hair game again and styled her locks into what is perhaps our favourite look from the festival so far: Grease-inspired curls à la Sandy. A style we saw quite a lot of in the '80s, and one that she manages to make look pretty amazing.
Jen Atkin was the celebrity hairstylist behind the voluminous bouffant, and while she hasn’t revealed the exact products used to create Lily’s curly ringlets, we would hazard a guess that plenty of Ouai products were involved.
To complement her beautiful curls, the Lancôme ambassador paired her signature bold brows with a metallic eyeshadow and just a hint of silvery pigment that made her eyes pop.
We’re loving Lily’s bold look and we can’t wait to see what else she has in store for us as the festival continues.
Despite what Beyoncé may say, the Cannes attendees did not simply ‘wake up like this.’ Check out our gallery to see what goes into making our favourite celebs red carpet ready.
